This Sunday, September 8 at 5:00 PM, the 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚 will perform a concert titled "𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐖𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐒", as part of the festival "𝐀 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐳𝐚".
🌊 The central theme of "𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐖𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐒" is the perpetual motion of the wave, symbolizing both the propagation of sound through the air and the constant movement of the sea, thus uniquely connecting Music and the Physics of water.
The propagation of cosmic energy through the form of the wave will be the focal point of our interpretation, with a program that includes music inspired by nature and compositions from the classical music tradition. One of the composers featured is Vivaldi, who captured the undulating motion of the Venetian canals in the “Adagio” movements of his compositions.
It’s beautiful to imagine how, through the waves of the sea, vastly different peoples have been able to meet and exchange knowledge and music.
📍 The concert will take place in the prestigious 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐅𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐨, located in the heart of Portobuffolè, Italy. This historic venue, with its captivating atmosphere and excellent acoustics for chamber music, creates the perfect setting that enhances every note, making each performance a truly unique and unforgettable experience.
It will be a special opportunity to immerse ourselves in the theme of water through music, elevated by the extraordinary performance of the Blanc String Orchestra.
I look forward to an afternoon of great music and emotions. See you on Sunday!
