A Scenic Journey: Inverness to Tarbet

I have enojoyed a captivating drive from Inverness to Tarbet along a narrow country road that showcased the stunning landscapes of the Scottish Highlands.

Starting my journey in Inverness, I felt a rush of excitement as I left the city’s industrious atmosphere behind. The road quickly transformed, winding through lush hills and dotted with sheep grazing peacefully. I slowed down to appreciate the vibrant heather blooming in shades of purple and the distant mountains shrouded in mist.

Along the way, I stumbled upon charming villages like Drumnadrochit, where I stopped to taste a glimpse of rural Scottish life.

As I approached Tarbet, the road traced the shores of Loch Lomond, with its shimmering waters and towering mountains creating a breathtaking backdrop. Arriving in Tarbet, I felt a deep sense of fulfillment from the scenic journey I had just experienced.

It was so dark that I missed my pod, panic! Luckily in 100 metres away, there were still a family awake watching the television. I have asked for help and they kidly took me to my little pod, I have been lucky!
